What format are the photos in?
All Banff Mountain Art Gallery photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by employee's of Banff Mountain Art Gallery and are not found anywhere else. In the future we may consider this but our policy is to sell only our photos at our two stores in Banff and Lake Louise and on line at this web site.
Will my photo be cropped?
Generally we try our best not to crop the photo from the size you order however, Banff Mountain Art Gallery does reserve the right to substitute a different size if that cropping works best to avoid altering the integrity of the photo. When in doubt that the photo will work in the size ordered you will be contacted with our best suggestion. For example a panoramic photo will work as a 10 x 16 but not an 11 x 14. We always do our best to keep the artistic integrity.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is that your one of a kind work of art is being hand created just for you! However, if you catch us in time we may be able to offer a refund or credit on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Banff Mountain Art Gallery photos that I purchase?
Yes. While Banff Mountain Art Gallery offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of photos available for purchase, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. The art you are purchasing is for your enjoyment or that of a gift to friends.
Where will you find the artwork seen on this web site?
All over the world! We ship worldwide and have had many happy customers on every continent thus far. We believe in our tag line of "taking the mountains home".
What if I want to purchase multiple units for a conference or corporate gifts? Do you offer this service?
Yes, we have been very successful in offering corporate speaker gifts as well as conference incentive gifts. We will work with you to understand what you are looking for and offer custom framing, logo inclusions, packaging and just about anything that is necessary. We also offer volume purchase discounts for this sort of gifting. Please contact us directly to inquire about pricing.
After I pay how will I know my order will ship?
After you pay you will receive a confirmation email (this can take up to 48 hours for us to process) and when your order is shipped you will get another shipping confirmation. All orders are generally processed and shipped in 3 to 7 business days in most cases. However our processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your purchase may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase and you do not receive your confirmation email from Banff Mountain Art Gallery using your details, send a support request.
